Established in 1996, Furniture by Design is a small, North Carolina based company specializing in designing and building fine, handmade, hardwood furniture. All our designs are original, unique, intriguing, functional and hand crafted from solid wood. While elegant, exquisitely detailed, and superbly finished, each piece is designed, engineered, and crafted to withstand daily use for generations to come.

Our woods of choice, Curly Maple, Cherry, Bubinga, Walnut, Ebony, Wenge and Bloodwood are among the most prized and premium hardwoods available today.
